We love sharing what makes Ogden such a vibrant, versatile place to live, especially for families and outdoor lovers living in Stagecoach Estates by McArthur Homes. With its small-town charm, scenic views of the Wasatch Mountains and peaceful rural feel, Taylor, Utah makes for a perfect starting point to explore everything Ogden offers. From our front porch in Stagecoach Estates, we can hop into nearby trails, museums, art venues or charming downtown attractions in minutes. It’s that special balance of nature and city access that makes living here feel grounded yet exciting.

Historic 25th Street

Historic 25th Street buzzes with character, history and community spirit. Today the street is lined with restaurants, galleries, shops and outdoor seasonal events such as farmers markets and car shows. It’s a lively spot where locals and visitors mingle beneath neon signs and murals rich in downtown flair.

New World Distillery

At New World Distillery, craftsmanship meets creativity in their locally made spirits. Their approach blends traditional methods with modern technique to produce distinctive small-batch spirits.

The Ogden Nature Center spans 152 acres of preserved land, offering gardens, walking trails, wildlife habitats and educational programming. It was Utah’s first nature center and has an award-winning visitor center made with reclaimed materials. Families find nature-inspired fun plus classes for all ages in this tranquil setting.

Eccles Community Art Center

Housed in a historic Victorian residence built in 1893, the Eccles Community Art Center now welcomes visitors to explore visual and performing arts. The center offers rotating exhibits, classes in art, design and writing, and a gallery where you can support local artists.

Peery’s Egyptian Theater

Peery’s Egyptian Theater opened in 1924 and is one of the few remaining movie palaces in the Egyptian revival style. Today it’s a richly atmospheric venue hosting live theater performances, film screenings, choral and dance shows and seasonal favorites like The Nutcracker ballet.

Hill Aerospace Museum

The Hill Aerospace Museum offers a thrilling family experience with over 70 aircrafts on display, from early aviation through modern sightings. As part of the U.S. Air Force Heritage Program, the museum showcases incredible artifacts and is free to visit, making it a year-round destination for discovery and excitement.

The Ogden Amphitheater bursts into life with community events year-round. In spring, expect festivals including the Ogden Marathon finishing event. Summer brings Trail Fest, pride celebrations, outdoor concerts and family-friendly gatherings. In autumn, the fall market offers weekend strolls, and in winter the Amphitheater transforms into a magical Christmas Village with themed lights and hot chocolate.

Union Station

Ogden’s Union Station stands at the west end of Historic 25th Street and is now home to a cluster of museums: the Railroad Museum, Firearms Museum, Classic Car Museum, Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum plus rotating art exhibits and archives. It preserves the region’s rail history and cultural heritage for all to explore.

Ogden Rock Climbing

Recognized as a rising climbing destination, Ogden offers varied stone types and routes rooted in decades of climbing heritage. Its proximity to downtown means you can go climbing after work and be home for dinner.
